Hi from Sweden!
Hi guys, I have browsed the forum for several years and found it quite helpful! I have three old AMG cars (E55, ML55, C55 all M113 engine) and will probably do som work on one of them regarding timing chain. I figured I would post some pictures and experiences since I have had problems finding information about this.

Hi all...Mercedes n00b here. In fact, I'm so new I don't actually have one yet. I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2013 E300 black, to replace my 2011 Accord EX-L. I'm here first to learn if this is a good idea or not and then later to learn all the ins-and-outs. Sadly, I won't be able to give the E300 the same lovin that I gave the Accord, since I'm about to build a house at the end of a mile of sometimes-washed-out gravel, but I will find ways to make it 'mine.'
Thanks all!
Thanks all!

Good day all,
My name is Bill
I have just ordered my new C300 Diamond White Metallic with the AMG package which is due for delivery in October. I have joined in the meantime to do some reading etc.
My previous Benz was a C230 Sports Coupé way back in 2003 and now I have decided to "grow up" and get the car I really want - and deserve..!!

New member! I just ordered my 2nd Mercedes. 2017 350 GLE. Night package, polar white with black leather interior (needed ventilated seats in Florida!). Attached pic is just a stock photo. Previous MB was ML 350. Got spoiled with the Mercedes, looked at other brands, but just wasn't excited about any of them.

New Here!
Hey guys! Name is Sam from Texas. Recently totaled my 328i and got a nice insurance check from Progressive and purchased a 2009 Mercedes C300 Sport model. Love everything about it. Plan on not doing a whole lot to it except for putting some 19x9s on it, some tint, and coilovers. Keep it somewhat decent. Not going too crazy.

Greetings ALL!
What's up family "Mike" here..... USA, Atlanta Georgia!\
I'm new to the world of MB, and previously have been a devout BMW owner for years among other vehicles. I look forward to the opportunity to learn all I can from you guys .......especially in the realm of DIY for these expensive to own cars. I currently have a "BLACK PANTHER" -Black on Black 2007 C230 Sport or W203 w/Sport Badge as I have learned to call her, with a few AMG mods. So far I believe the exhaust system is AMG and I am not sure what else may be.
- pics coming soon
Currently, I have about 5 issues I need help with and will be scouring the forum for info on. Looking to fix all "DIY"
Codes after filter replacement ODB = P0456 / P0173 / P0170 / P2006
1. Headlights seem out of wack - Thus far I have learned via forum that the right side should be higher than the left - but my left headlight seems like one of those baby night lights that projects shapes on the wall. It does not have a steady beam at all. I tried to adjust it but couldn't tell much difference no matter the direction I turned the two screws........ It's like the beam is slightly obstructed or something.
2. CEL (reference OBD codes above)- came on after I changed the air filters (I went too $$$cheap I guess) I replaced them with an AutoZone STP filter and they had this foam pad on them that was glued on, I asked if it should be there and was told that's how they are made. My Black Panther ran horribly after replacement, power loss and bad idle...... If you pull the foam off then the filter blades themselves where much shorter than the original. I am trying to figure out if it just made the weakest link in the equation -MAF Sensor go bad = cleaning or replacement - What will be best? I removed the filters (gonna get better ones from NAPA) gave the MAF a few shots of CRC and the light goes out eventually, and only comes back on when I put more than 3/4 gas on fill-up. Which leads me to my next issue..............
3. I topped off the gas and at first thought I over filled it..... well i did (been driving my Chrysler Aspen 5.7 Hemi w/27 gallon bottomless fuel tank) I didn't expect it to cut off at 14 gallons. Long story short I smelled gas in the car and latter in the day saw a slight gas puddle by the front of the driver side rear tire. Researched it on here and it seems to be the fuel sender under the rear seat driver side as the culprit. I plan to replace it myself and I want to make sure I order the right parts so any assistance would be great.
4. When applying brakes from at a decent speed the car and steering wheel shimmy's a bit. It doesn't noticeably pull to one side or the other however. Will this be the rotors or pads or both?
5. Where is the best place to buy/order replacement windshield wipers?

Hi, my name is Todd. First time here but I've been active on various car forums for years. I currently drive - not daily anymore - a 1993 BMW M5 that I have owned since January 1995. I'm in the market for a C63 - 2012~2014 - in a color other than black being as I live in the SoCal desert and don't need a heat sink ;>)
