Have done a lot of work on my 2005 CLK 55 since I got it...here is some progress with pictures and more to come!
Bought it July 2015 and put it in storage for a year (overseas in Korea)
Got it back July 2016 and in a month I have done:
Aesthetics:
CF front lip
CF rear diffuser
CF trunk spoiler
Smoked side markers
DEPO headlights bi xenon with morimoto 5k HID kit
AZN optics full LED exterior and interior
Pioneer double din
Replaced all speakers with alpine speakers
Two kicker amps (one for speakers one for sub)
12" kicker sub with custom box for oem finish and more trunk space
35% window tint all around and 70%on front windshield
Full black suede headliner and painted all the plastic pieces black
Just refinished a set of BBS LMs that I have not put on yet
Performance:
Renntech CF air box
Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers
HnR front and rear away bars
Secondary cat delete and X pipe for resonator
Eurocharged ECU tune(have not installed yet)
KnN filters
Car just got picked up a few days ago as I am relocating to Maryland. Looking to possible get some Eurocharged shorty headers and hi flow primary cats as well!
I am debating what to do with all the chrome, planning on waiting to get the rims on before I decide. My best option now is to black out window trim and leave the chrome impact strips along the car to off set the polished lip. Probably will paint the grill gloss black and leave the star silver as well..
Looking great! How are the H&R sway bars? Did the new ones get rid of the squeaking that almost all W209s have?
I installed both the Coilovers and sway bars at the same time, however I can say this is the best handling car I have ever had. I absolutely love how it is not too stiff, but perfect for anything I've thrown at it.
As to the squeeking, I have never had that issue but there is no noise at all
That's a lot of worthwhile mods .... Looks great..
In the exhaust picture, what is the pipe just after the x and the y merge pipe? Is it a glasspack or just pipe?

It's a straight pipe and further ahead are the primary cats...that is the front of the vehicle
I've had an 05 with console facelift, and a late 06 with full facelift. The newer seats, they aren't much different but they are a great deal more cosseting. But I must say both seats I have had have been extremely comfortable. I have been in there 6 hours, and yet still not get a single bit of ache.
Either you're oddly shaped or you need to adjust your seat better :P
I cannot get on with VW or Audi seats however, I just can't get them to fit me right, and I find it uncomfortable after little over an hour.
Just a few teasers test fitting the LMs
Ordered an 8mm spacer up front and 15mm for the rear...the BBS were 32 offset all around...lets hope there is no vibration up front
Btw shout out to blackbenzzz for being a great guy and helping me out!!
what did the black suede headlinet run you? i would love that for my c55.
headliner + paint of all plastic ran me 550$ I had the rear deck replaced which was 150$ because it was all faded purple and painting it looked terrible.
The spacer was purely for the brakes and cosmetic look (i want it all the way out to the fender) and I will hopefully have those spacers in today!
Hoping for no vibrations because the 8mm up front are not hubcentric, but i realize we have a pretty large hub to mount them on.
