Omg Dragon , what a tough decision RS6 is truly a hell of a car also, really like it, but tbh the C63S u show us in the pics is the way to go, it looks sooooo good ! If u really need the wagon space , then the RS6 is the right choice ofcourse. Good luck with the decision hopefully u will make the right one (C63S)

Wish that gray/black Edition 1 color was available in U.S. There are several of the yellow trim for sale here on Autotrader. I bet the U.S. dealers feel the same as me...

Yes Dragon I guess the decision comes down to practicality and whether you need the space or not. But seeing you ordered the C63 S first I'm guessing you don't. IMO your spec on the C63 S is the winner hands down and is something I may have gone for if we had that option in Australia. Could be worse decisions to have to make I guess ha ha.

The RS6 is, of course, more practical for space but I can deal without that. The main practical argument for me is AWD vs 2WD during the UK winter months. I had assumed I would get a few months of summer first from the C63 to "remember" when I can't use the power in the winter.
The RS6 I have ordered is £10k cheaper too, it is a few months old and not highly "specced up".
I guess I'm very slightly in favour of the RS6.

I say leave it on, to start and if you get bored later you can pull it off if you don't put Expel on it.
If you put film on to start I would remove it first.

I've gone ahead with the Merc and cancelled the Audi. Close run thing but I've already had an RS6 and decided I'd been there and done that.
Currently going with stripe, will "try it out" for a couple of weeks.
I shall be posting pics as soon as I have the car. I'll be focussing on the lovely smooth dashboard area where a ghastly HUD might have sat spoiling the look of the whole area. Some might say one doesn't look at that area very often... but I'll be carefully positioning a mirror so that I can glance and see the smoothness at any moment

@michael640d Hope it goes a bit more to plan than mine!
Thanks for the comments all!
I'm hoping to pick the car up tomorrow!
Just FYI:
I spoke to my dealer about the possibility of removing the stripe. He said that they have had problems removing decals in the past since Mercedes changed the way they are glued. If I wanted it removed they would not want to do it.

Congrats Dragon! I am in the minority and like it without the stripe but it looks incredible either way. Enjoy in good health and if there's anything I can do for you in the future let me know
