PeterU, do you still get that occasional error thing with the Sprintbooster?

I occasionally get the jerking in my SLK. It's not really predictable and is very irritating when it does happen. I am guessing it has to do with the traction control. I have only had it happen when accelerating through a turn from a stop, but it doesn't happen consistently.

if you're racing someone key is to brake torque/stall the car to get excellent immediate launch

I have one on my c32 and love the heightened throttle response on the Green Setting. Red is too much but green is perfect.
I'm finally picking up my 2015 E63 AMG S in Steel grey this friday from motor works barrington that i just bought as a CPO vehicle. I absolutely noticed on the test drive when driving it in S+ mode this throttle lag issue which is as described in all these posts.
The W212 E63 a exceptional machine dont get me wrong, but I do find it strange that my 13 year old c32 with sprintbooster has a more sensitive throttle feel from a slow rolling start or stop, compared to a much more modern and advanced machine that is the E63. regardless i'm excited to get my hands on the car this friday and learn its personality

Peter - so which sprintbooster did you buy for your E63 amg S? They list one E63 product specific for the 2010 year vehicle and also a 2009-2015 E-class option so was not sure which to purchase.
