Does your E63 trunk look like this?
Just bought a 2015 E63 AMG S as a CPO and for first time looked into the trunk and seems its missing a cover or something on the upper part of the trunk no???
attached pics....doesnt look right seeing exposed metal and wires right????? (NOTE - THE PICS FOR SOME REASON SHOW UPSIDE DOWN.... )
curious what the rest of you see in your trunk...

Just looked at mine, and where you have the white section with all the wires and plugs showing, there should be a hinged plastic door which opens to the left.
I wouldn't have thought it was detrimental, though if you bought from a dealer it may be worth a word with them?

thanks you guys are awesome.... am scheduled to bring it back to Motor Werks Barrington tomorrow to program a new 2nd key and will have them address that missing cover/door.

That little cover isn't sitting near the tire well or nearby? Perhaps fell down there

Certainly not detrimental to not have the hinged piece. But hey, you have bought it CPO and it should be nice and neat. Hopefully you will get the piece to snap it back on.

OK, My car look like AG6 photo
I thought a cover was missing that covered the deck where the white metal is. Seem like that is expose body part.

I checked my trunk again and it definitely has a plastic hinge there where a door or cover should be attached to and cover up those wires. I have the car at the dealer and they "said" they will get a replacement cover which should have been addressed during the CPO they completed.
