I went on AMG Basic Training (UK) today which was brilliant and I would recommend it to anyone. I also put my son (18) on the half day experience which he thought was awesome. Anyway... back to the point. I happen to mention about spacers to the trainer who really was a genuine Mercedes racing driver (no not Lewis or Nico). He didn't say don't do it (although it was obvious he didn't really approve) but he did very strongly suggest I get the car's geometry checked and altered after fitting. I talked to the shop and they said it really wasn't worth fiddling with the geometry with such small spacers..
Hmmm.

I had a friend drive behind me today... I've never seen it from the outside (because no one drives my car but me haha).
All my friend said was it looks so much fatter now... The slight camber after lowering actually makes it look so much more aggressive.
Here are a few pics he look from his 4x4... They are not the best but you get the idea!

I ordered 10mm rear 12mm front as per Sanch's suggestion and as per recommendation from the shop I'm using. I will post pics as soon as I get it done which should be Monday. They have all the parts now but I couldn't make it in today.

DRAGON - I think there are a lot of people waiting on your car with the spacers as you're not lowering it. I think 12/10mm will work a treat!
I'll tell you what I'm happy I did the spacers it's made the car even fatter than before and the slight drop (for me) has finished off the look

But that vehicle is lowered and had spacers, I believe... What I would like to do is neither of those. Just go as wide add I can on tires. This way, all vehicle systems remain functional and the dealer can't give me crap....
295s in front with 305s in the back on that coupe with 19/20s?. Will that work?

What about type of tire?
Anyone think about Michelin pilot A/S 3s?

Have a look at this site.

Also, having excessively large tyres on rims that are not made for them are pretty dangerous and illegal here in Australia.
Best is to check with your dealer.
I think if you were to go larger tires you can go up a size (recommended on the website)
Fronts - 265
Rears - 295

anything over pulls the bead in too much and is not the best choice.
You have snow? if so I have used the Michelin pilot A/S and they are good in my opinion.

So if I go 275 on the front as both you guys recommend, Sanch in another thread, he also recommended a 10mm spacer for the front...
Can you all confirm?
Suggestions on the spacer supplier and the lugs or bolts in black (black rims)?
Thx again!

I used ECS tuning hub centric spacers and in regards to the lugs they are silver... however, it doesn't matter because they center cap covers everything.
Have you taken delivery of the car?

I had my KW HAS here before the car lol
Just wait till you get the car, don't rush into the spacers until you measure it with the new tires so you get the perfect fit.

The spacers were a fail for me, more details in the Iridium silver thread but basically H&R ones don't seem to fit properly. I've given up for now.
