Exclamation DOOR CLOSED SENSOR PROBLEM

Hi

does anyone has repaired this:

when I close the car remotely some times the warning light blink fast speed and don't stop
I figured out that the car thinks a door is not well closed or so

so I slam the passenger door a little harder, redo close and its gone
also
passenger soft close turns off after a week or so

when that happens I just disconnect the the battery a minute and its gone

no leaks

I think that the "doors are closed" sensor is not in the right position or so

help is welcome

Are you sure there are no leaks? I have the same issue and I believe it's due to a failed soft close on the driver's side. I also noticed the lock goes down slower on that side. Hitting the lock button again when it starts blinking seems to stop the blinking. Also, if you disconnect the battery (or take out the fuse,) it resets the system when you reconnect it, and it takes a few times of the air pump struggling to get it closed to give up and shut down that feature again. Just because it works doesn't mean there is no leak.

Side note, I also drive a Kleeman tuned CL600. Mazel tov!

There can be a leak and the soft close still function. After so many times of the door working harder than it's supposed to, it shuts down and you have to pull the fuse or battery cable to reset it. Then the process starts over. Others have reported a similar timeline, ranging from 1-2 weeks.

Sounds like it could be this issue. https://mbworld.org/forums/cl-class-...oft-close.html

Good plan, it just has to be a leak, the door is just the most common.
