Do I have e class brakes on my w203??
Bought some akebono euro brakes for my w203 and tried the install tonight. To my surprise, my brake pads don't seem to be from a c-class. Seems that prior owner could have swapped them out?? Attached are pics of my front pads. Does anyone know what models these are from??

BUT when I took off my pads there was still a lot of meat, I wonder if I even need to change? Are those bembos, or other brands, better than oem??
Pagid and Brembo would be fine.
I am running Brembos all round and they are fine for me.
It looks like there are two sizes of pad listed for "sports".
A spec change for the later cars.

You can just call them and get a tech on the phone, and they will
help you to be sure you get the right pads.
I did. Super nice people! BTW- My front AMG pads are still going after something like
150K miles. Getting low, but ever so slowly since the AMG brakes are total overkill.
I've had pads and rotors sitting on the shelf for years, but turned out I didn't need them.
Yet.
To my suprise, three of the four paid of brake pads were very thin. One set of pads passenger side front had lots of meat.
On the drivers side front the rotor is completely done. Deep streaking on the inside of rotor, will take some pics of how th streaks bit into the pad!!
Planning in buying the brembo rotors on Amazon at $77 each with 5 star reviews
