Do I have e class brakes on my w203??

4" length
2.75" height
Bought some akebono euro brakes for my w203 and tried the install tonight. To my surprise, my brake pads don't seem to be from a c-class. Seems that prior owner could have swapped them out?? Attached are pics of my front pads. Does anyone know what models these are from??

Those pads are from the sports package.

thanks! Very frustrating because the akebono website says these are for sport package. The advance auto website says the same !

BUT when I took off my pads there was still a lot of meat, I wonder if I even need to change? Are those bembos, or other brands, better than oem??

OEM is probably best.
Pagid and Brembo would be fine.
I am running Brembos all round and they are fine for me.
It looks like there are two sizes of pad listed for "sports".
A spec change for the later cars.

119.8 X 71.4

to Chassis No. : A660226,F565688
to Chassis No. : R138317
Fitting Position : Front Axle
Vehicle Equipment : for vehicles with sports package

and 101.6 X 80

from Chassis No. : A660227
from Chassis No. : F565689
from Chassis No. : R138318
Fitting Position : Front Axle
Vehicle Equipment : for vehicles with sports package

Serves me right to listen to some dumbass mechanic. I found that the akebono pads for the sport package are EUR1121, which I will install this weekend.

Akebono's are simply awesome. Amazingly despite the Asian sounding name, their made in USA in Tennesee or Kentucky, I forget which.
You can just call them and get a tech on the phone, and they will
help you to be sure you get the right pads.
I did. Super nice people! BTW- My front AMG pads are still going after something like
150K miles. Getting low, but ever so slowly since the AMG brakes are total overkill.
I've had pads and rotors sitting on the shelf for years, but turned out I didn't need them.
Yet.

Coincidently I just got finished my install of the front and rear akebono brakes. Very easy install and first test drive seemed smooth.

To my suprise, three of the four paid of brake pads were very thin. One set of pads passenger side front had lots of meat.

On the drivers side front the rotor is completely done. Deep streaking on the inside of rotor, will take some pics of how th streaks bit into the pad!!

Planning in buying the brembo rotors on Amazon at $77 each with 5 star reviews

You put new ceramic pads without changing the rotors? EEEEKS!
Do it ASAP!
