Would ask you to post some pics, but having none of my own to post - yet - that would be a ridiculous expectation.
Personally, I think you are going to absolutely frickin LOVE the new look & noticeably lower ride height (from inside & out), as well as the better driving feel that lowering provides to any car. Straight up, Big Mo......going to love it!

Awesome! Please tell us how you like the new look when the fronts are done.

Next issue is negative rear camber... i'm going back to the shop today, the alignment tech is gonna look for a solution to adjust the camber. I'm hoping camber bolts are avilable, but thats only for the fromts. Rears... well, again i'' crossing my fingers...
pics... just stance no close ups as the car was full of smudges, hahaha!

Success! Everything was installed yesterday. My fronts came to +32 offset, rears at +55. I think +31 front offset would be best. The control arm clearance is really a pain... but, at least we can confirm that the part no. for h&r springs for c450 can be used on the c43. I guess someone has to update their website, haha!

And regarding the camber bolts, I had that alignment issue with the right front not quite getting back to mfg. spec, so of course, bolts on both sides should be going on shortly. The rears were okay, but I'm still on stock 18s.
Anyway, my wheel-tire-suspension-brake guy was able to quote me bolts @ $250.00 installed, so nothing major.
Mo is a hap-py camper!.....Mo is a hap-py camper!.....Mo is a hap-py camper! You da man.

Thank you! That was quick......and it's looking sweet. The stance is proper and everything flows smoothly headlamps-to-tail lamps, or shall I say flows noticeably smoother than stock ride height - as I noticed with mine.

This is how my alignment went. The fronts stayed within spec so we didn't bother putting camber bolts. We weren't even able to check if the front bushings allow the use of a camber bolt since that requires the bushings to have kinda like a nipple inside in order for the camber bolts to rotate and change the angle.
Now, the rears... that we needed to do something about. It was at -2.9* and -3.2*. Well, we did what we could with the amount of money i was willing to spend.
The rear lower control arms have these elongated holes where the bolts go in to secure the bushing. One on each side. Drilled the elongated wholes to accomodate the bolts tucked the control arms inwards and presto, -1.8* on both left and right! We could still adjust to positive camber but decided to stay as perpendicular to the surface as possible without going over spec. Depending on tire wear in the next 3-6 months, i'll see if we'll just disregard what the specs are and save the tires instead.
I'm attaching pictures just somembers who are interested in doing it this way woold understand what I'm talking about. Btw, total cost for alignment $120. Also, this is exactly what we did with my previous c207 e class coupe and that stayed fix for a little over 2 years until i got this c43.

Then my front passenger came out @ around -2.5* in the end, i.e., expect more inner tire wear than normal............kinda of an AMG thing since I had the same issue with the W204 63 even when properly aligned (and sitting on 20s, which I think affects how alignment can be adjusted.). Still, was inspecting all 4 of those tires every 2 weeks to track the wear; was always more so on the right side, again, a normal AMG Merc camber.
Anyway, with the 18s on the 450, same deal as you: Keeping an eye on tire wear, though the camber bolts will be installed at some point.
Speaking of tires - since you appear to be also sitting on 20s, in 5 years with the '09 C63, here's what noticed in my experience (barely getting 9K out of rears; slightly more for fronts, all from driving it like I stole it. I know; my fault. ). If you're not caught up in name brand tires, ignore those banditos @ name-brand Pirelli, Michelin, etc. The performance is not commensurate with their thieving-*** markups.....in some cases not even equal to so-called lesser brands; getting rich on their name, not the product. Witches.
Hankook, Nitto, and Vredestein had the 285/25s and 245/30s at some insanely good prices....we're talking 1/4 to 1/3 of the name-brands. Performed just fine, wet weather included with that scary M156 V-8 power. Should mention that Hankooks were hard to come by, and seemingly no longer being made, though the demand may have them back in the game.
Last but not least, thanks for sharing with the rest of us 450/43 drivers.
He gone!

Has anyone tried to install 12j rims on their W205? Im thinking with the thought of getting custom Maybach with a flat dish made in 12j for the rear... Ill install a rear camber kit also.. anyone tried similar ?

Without extensive body panel modification a x12" will not work on a W205.

So, Mr. Boles, you're the owner of this vehicle, huh? Well, it's the only one I'd been able to find in a picture search that captured my same vision.....CV3Rs to go with my H&R lowered black-on-black c450 with the night package and the headlamps, tail lamps, and chrome trunk strip smoked out / blacked out.
Well, no offer to make at the moment, but if & when that time comes - and it just might; situation still developing........you might have a taker, assuming someone else does not flash the cash sooner.
I like the 30-series rear / 35-series front tire setup, as I was thinking I'd have to go 19 to ge the right amount of tire. The '09 C63 rode on 20s with 285-25s/245-30s and that little profile was frickin nerve wracking when encountering virtually any road imperfections or - God forbid - crappy, too spread out, hi-lo expansion joints on highway ramps. With that heavy V8, got the bent front wheels to prove it. Drove me absolutely crazy.
Ironically, I problem I never have in the G35 with 30/35s atop 20s. And good to see Vredestein has the right size tires; used those on the 63 with great results.
Anyway, good luck selling them before I can get my s--- together, but if still available when I do, I'll hit you up.

I've always liked the look of your C400! I recall the Forum doing an article on you. Those wheels look like they fit like a glove! Awesome stance also! I almost bought an identical set off a forum member a little while back, but he decided to keep them... what are your wheel sizes & offsets as I have a C400 also... tire wise, did you go with a 255/30 upfront & 285/25 in the rear?
Thanks! :-)
Thanks! :-)
