from what people say on here the boxes and filters are worth 10-13whp so let's just assume bone stock would of been 387-390whp on my dyno
I'm sending Jeremy the dyno files and he thinks there might be some left on the table for 93oct street file.

OE Tuning C63 AMG
C63 rpm limit
On 93 octane there is still a little more we can gain with fine tuning.

Oh for about, idk, the millionth time? Dynos are tools for measuring changes in hp/tq. To me, someone calling bs on dyno numbers because their car had different numbers is someone who doesn't know the purpose of a dyno or the vast variations between dynos. However, at the end of the day when using the same brand dyno, people should see numbers in the same ballpark and this thread is no exception. OP car seems to be spot on...
You want to know what kind of power your car puts down? Go weigh it and then go quarter mile it. Period.
Now, if numbers are WAY off then you can raise an eyebrow. But again, the OPs car is right on point for where it should be in theory. Idk why the bs flag had to get raised here...

All dynos are identical and there are no variances in readings, just on the vehicle and mods. My buddy with with an IS350 F-Sport, which had exhaust and intake, put down 420whp, according to "other people on the forums with similar mods". THE INTERWEBS DOES NOT LIES!!

For the record I was not claiming the numbers were wrong, just wanted to know what my car would do on that particular dyno as I know this. Which is why I have only gone to the same exact dyno for every pull I've ever done. I guess I was vague with how I posted that gif lol, which is why I said I wonder what my car would read.
anyways I got an updated 93 oct file that will have more top end and will re dyno next week sometime

I'm going to do the same around 50k also but was told by OE to use OEM plugs and not go colder.

Yeah, I'm going to use OEM NGK plugs also. I picked up a set for $60 from another forum member. They usually run $10-11 per plug from Amazon. I wouldn't go colder on the plugs until you're pushing 100 hp above stock, so maybe after LTH but definitely if you're supercharged.

unfortunately I didn't .the first thing I did on the car was row boxes and filters.i definitely felt a difference on the but dyno though.

I have a P31 as well. Just got a tune, and gained 30whp and 25nm.

just wanted to add some small details that I don't think made a big difference but must mention that I also added a carbon front intake setup and I adjusted and made my own air filter spacer that I used the old rubber from the OEM air filters to get that little blockage the stock setup has under the air filter.
I didn't think it would add any power but those 2 things were also added on my after dyno with the tune.
here is a picture of my setup.now I'm not going to take it all apart and re test without but it's a free mod if you have a set of old air filters.you just cut the filter out and use the ring to space your new filters up a little to maximize any air trying to get in.
these are all my little things done that don't have any proof each thing added any power but it's what I'm running.i have like 4 80+mm throttle body's that I used on my e55 and I might do a bigger TB on my car but it was a nightmare getting the e55 not to through codes and might not open that can of worms with my 63. when I redyno and see where the new file sits I might do it if I'm close to 450whp.my goal is 450whp on stock exhaust and if that TB kit will get me it I might go for it.
I also have bigger Boca carbon air boxes but the car runs like absolute **** with them installed.they don't have a velocity stack to guide the air over the meter and the car bucks and studders if you go more than 15% throttle.im trying to make stacks to put in the Boca intakes and have had talks with them on Facebook but the never got back to me. here is a picture of them on.its a shame the car would not run well and had to take them out.

I'd like to see someone to bigger throttle bodies and post gains.

I'm in the middle of planning my wedding and dropping 10k left and right lol just booked sandals and that one hurt also for the honeymoon.
I'm just glad I moved stuff around and made some moves to keep the car because I actually had it for sale to help pay for something's.

That's understandable, fair play man.
From what I also see, full decats get you very close to long-tubes peak power also...so if you want to get there on a budget, that might be an idea but you don't get the beefier midrange, which would make it more fun and faster to drive in everyday situations.

You say the Boca boxes make the car run poorly... And to that I say it looks like they are put together using packaging tape where inlet meets box.. Whats up with that?

here is my message to Boca about it and showing them how the carbonio and renntech have stack to smooth the air over the meter.
I bought 2 plastic funnels and cut them and jammed it in the bocas and drove around and the car drove 100% perfect but it was a ghetto mickey mouse job just to see how they would react and I was right it drove perfect with funnels installed.
