New Carbon Fiber Interior

I had my trim pieces all molded and fitted with carbon fiber. It took quite a while to wait for the pieces, but the results speak for themself. This fits so much better in the Ash interior than the wood grain. Only issue is a few of the lower arm rest trim clips fell into the panel, and I can't get them out of there for the life of me. Does anyone know if these are available for purchase anywhere? I haven't check the dealer yet (I am not currently home with the car, I'm currently deployed) Any help would be appreciated

Nice upgrade! I hate woodgrain, luckily mine has the carbon package.

I did have a 2010 C series in the past that had real aluminum trim, that was nice as well and apparently they must not have offered it in the w212.

Yea, that was the first order of business when I got the car. That, red calipers and the resonator delete. Immediately a different car.

That looks much better. Ive always thought that brown wood was terrible for the E63. I have the black wood, which is still pretty slick looking, although not as nice as carbon of course.

who did your work

none of the door panels need to be removed

just buy some trim movable tools and everything does pop off, and yes be careful with the clips ....

now u need to do your AC surround and the center

I'm sure they could do the work, I'd give them a call or shoot them a message if you're seriously interested

Hey sorry guys, been traveling. Ocarbon did all the work. I'll let Matt give you a price since he used all my parts for molds.

You absolutely have to remove the door panels to put the trim on. They are attached by bolts. I would know, I changed it all out. The only pieces you don't have to is the lower trim pieces.

Now we're talking, thanks for coming back to earth!
What's the process for removing that piece around the shifter/mode buttons and the ashtray cover?

buy some trim removal tools, u wedge into the side pieces and pull them off, as u see in my pics above they are already out.

for the center surround, open the ask tray slide, then stick your fingers in the front of the surround and pull it up, and forward toward the ac surround ....dont be scared...just pull up and foward at an angle. Move the gear to get the surround out and undo the screws for the buttons.

cup holder surround it simply pulling gently around its perimeter

dash - start with opening the glove box, under the door latch is 2 small slides, open them and the top dash piece pops out,....undo some plugs with small screw driver...

next u have to remove the radio...partly alteast..2 screws on top, once u pull it out u can access the screws holding the ac surround in place, that pops off...then u have access to flip off the cover of the ash tray.

for the doors, i only had to pull off my lower strips....they just pop out.
the upper pieces probably require door card removal...probably easy, few screws and plugs, im sure youtube has videos...

u got this

so the original poster of this thread never said where he got his done did he?
