Harmon Kardon is not standard equipment. The COMAND APS Logic7 has 14 speakers (Center dash, Front door, Rear Door, Rear Deck and Subwoofer). The standard systems are the NAVIGATION 20, the AUDIO 50 APS and do not have the center channel or subwoofer. Then there is the Bang & Olufsen system which is absolutely amazing and $$$$$.

i think its the premium audio option for the 17 since i didnt see HK as an option for the 17 models.. the ones the W212 have is pretty good i'd say (HK7) you get more of a pounding bass on the W166 model though
That is not correct. The B&O system is the highest end audio offered in the W212. It would most like be installed in an E63 or E550 instead of an E350 due to the high cost.
Yep, B&O was a rare and expensive option. Having driven a 213 loaner with Burmester, that blows the 212 H/K out of the water. I wish I could have heard the 212 B&O for comparison.

All these years, all these Benzes, all these posts.. still learn something new almost daily.
I have never seen this in any W212 I have looked at, but I would love to experience it.

You are so wrong if w213 you drove having normal 13 Burmester Speakers
13 normal Burmester speakers are on lower lower level and lower quality comparing HK Full Logic 7, especially play music with strong bass and max Volume
Just 24 speakers 3D high end Burmester can blow out HK 7 out
Note that the HK Logic7 system, the components are actually Harman-Becker, and yes, Harman Inc owns Becker (since 1995), along with JBL, Infinity, Bang and Olufsen automotive, Crown International, AKG, dbx, Mark Levinson, and many others. Mercedes have traditionally used Becker radios going back to the 1960s.
and a couple years ago, Samsung bought Harman. yeeesh.
