Hi all ok weight reduction I've remove the heater box saving 12kg
Will put a light weight heater witch weighs 1.1kg

I should of done this a long time ago reduce under hood temps I will wrap to past the gear box

Looking good. I had a BMC filter on the Ducati and it was great for a long time but eventually started to fall apart. Not good right over the throats on the throttle bodies.

Just keep an eye out for leaky valve cover gaskets with that header wrap. I'm sure you're aware, but that stuff can soak up leaky oil and then become quite the combustible hazard when they get hot.

Good job Rob,

this BMC looks amazing..,

is it 3" ID..?,

prefer if you can put it front of Expansion tank, and put alloy piece to insulate it from headers,,

that will allow it to be more cool & closer to the air inlet scoop & put it away from intake manifold heat dead area, when you close the hood..

Also,

it will be great if you separate the Engine cooler, and put additional cooler,

did that in previous C43/55, with Slk55 set-up, really really awesome upgrade,

reducing the Engine disadvantage static with idling & maintain the viscosity of the oil..

Hi all more weight saving next its time to get out the dremel ill be making polycarbonate windows. I'll weigh back and front door inners and glass to see how much saving
I got 4mm thick sheets
