This, .... not so much.
I personally do not like any black wheels on any car, black wheels belong on Jeeps and maybe trucks.

Yea, black just becomes too dark to notice what kind of wheels one has on. What is the point of having em on when u cant see em if u step away a bit? I loved black wheels but now that I've joined the group, perspective have changed lol

pics???? n thanks

After i drop the ride, i might add spacers to bring em out a little cuz if i drop a little too much, they will be covered under the fenders and i want to sit the fenders just right above the tires and flush out the wheels and make it look a little more aggressive

I have videos of clearance, no still photos though. PM your email and i can send videos to you. The sl wheels were the 19" concave 5 spokes, all the way raised up i didn't rub, sport 1/2 ha, yeah right, i didn't even attempt to turn the steering wheel or move the car, i will say the profile on the fronts was 35 and the rears were 30 so if you profile match accordingly it may be possible to slam and not rub but when you have all the right components to run bigger wheels and go lower those aren't concerns. You have 20's, you aren't going to be able to obtain the look you are going for without rolling fenders and installing UPD upper arms to adjust camber. Once you lower it suspension geometry changes and there's little to no adjustment without adjustable arms. Same for the front, you'll need the kmac adjustable bushings. Unless you want or dont care about chewing tires up, me personally, i'm over it but soon enough i'll convert to coils and do it right 1 time.

UPD upper arm, u mean the one that rotates the tires thru the steering wheel?

is that the one you're talking about above the tire? I was thinking about that if i lower it, would that join hit the tire or wth would happen lol you see, idk much about cars in details n that deep. I'm still looking stuff around, I'll most likely get coils as well, found one for $700, kinda sweet talked n guy gave me $40 off. and as far as the spacers go or anything i got in my head, will all be done after it's lowered cuz i dont want anything to interfere anything.

Ima also go to a shop and hear what they have to say about lowering with springs and with coils and any possible rubbing. I just don't have much time in my hand due to school n work.

maybe i should've gone with 19s? idk, but i like how 20s really fill up all the gap tho

As someone else said in the E63 pics thread, so glad you kept the stock emblems on the back.

Drop it down a bit, throw a front lip on it and it'd look even better.

that protruding screw at the joints wont hit your tires if you lower it. It'd hit your tires if you get thicker wall tires or 21" wheels.

i was talking to my friend and I'm going for coils, he said it will be replaced by coils? and it wont be a problem when lowered. But I will be taking it to a shop where i knw a guy who ima have take a look at all that and give me any heads ups or anything, especially that upper arm, of getting coilovers. I was going to buy coils this weekend but I will have him asses this before i make a purchase, i don't want to make a mess. He might be able to hook me up with a deal with coils as well

hopefully the cards go right...! cuz coils are big deal for me lol they are at least $700. I was thinking of just getting springs but I'm not sure how the shocks are and how will they perform with new springs, if they need replacement, which will come down to total 500-600 shocks+springs, i rather go with coils which comes with everything for jus another 100 bucks plus adjustable ride height and comfort/stiffness.

upd rear upper camber arms w211-google search.
BC racing coils are your best bang for buck. Great quality and very fair pricing, I put some on my sisters c63 and even though they are the bottom end setup her car drives amazing.

Most of your clearance issues will be during turning. You can go with 20's but 19's are less of a pain for various reasons.

yea so i took it to a shop nearby who deals with coils, wheels, n brakes stuff, showed it to him. He said the arm travel the opposite of the ride height, if you lower the car the arm will move upward and vise versa. Which i see a point, it has two joints on either side and if the car lowers, the arm from above will push down and the two arms on sides will move up, making the whole thing move upward. He said a lot of MB guys come in asking the same question.

And I was thinking about Megan Racing coils, $700, but the shop told me to get D2 Racing coils, $930. That's a big diff but I'm not sure how each of them rides. I'm going to make a thread and see what others are using on w211 and see how they review what they have on and prolly make my decision.

BC racing, is 1k lol i'm not ready for that bill yet

Like motorwerkz said, the front upper control arms will never touch tires if when the suspension is unsprung you install wheel and tire, and nothing touches. If you put a wheel and tire on and it's not rubbing, then it wont rub even when you lower it. The wheel and tire are attached to the spindle, that upper ball joint distance from tire isn't going to change if you lower vehicle.

d2 k sport megan racing tein blah blah blah, all Japanese made, quality is good yes, but horror stories are ridiculous in comparison to something made in the USA. Budget is everything in life somewhat so to each their own. Your car, your wallet. All i'm going to say is you get what you pay for!!!!!!!
