Did my CL600 Have a Stroke? Right side DEAD

After finally getting my 2003 CL back on the road after an ABC debacle, I find that the right side of the car is deader than Elvis. Window operation, front seat, mirror control, etc .... I've already re-wired everything that goes through the accordion conduit in the driver's side door and also replaced the door control module. No dice. Checked all fuses, and they are good. I've heard that after extensive down time (note that battery was either dead or disconnected for the few months the car was not being driven), there are a number of re-sets that can be done and that they may fix the problem. Also pulling and replacing fuses one by one (presumably when the car is on (?). Can't believe I'm dealing with this again ...

Did you check the fuse under the passenger carpet? One of those pre-fuses controls an entire fuse block which includes everything on the passenger door.

If it's not the wiring to the door itself, it's gotta be a fuse for the door control module as mentioned above.

Well, I've been through the wiring in both doors, checked the fuses, and replaced the driver's side DCM; still no luck! In fact, on a few different occasions, while plugging in and unplugging the DCM on the passenger side, the front passenger side window went down a little bit each time, so now the window is stuck open about 2 inches. Need to solve this before the next rain !!!

Could it be one of the relays?
Is there a way to manually raise the window?

It's weird bc there's clearly some power there. The red light on the passenger seat switch (the one at the bottom for pulse and lumbar) comes on, but the lumbar adjustments are dead. Also, even though I can't move the passenger seat with the seat switch on the passenger side door, it DOES move forward when you fold the seat forward to let someone in the back ( ... or to access the fuse box in the rear passenger side footwell), and it goes back into its original position when you put the seat back into the upright position).

I've also started getting a "door open" warning light for the passenger side door, even when the door is definitely closed. Understood that the switch may be bad, but I can't imagine that is what's disbaling everything on the right side of the car.

This truly sucks .....

I had the same issues. This is what the shop came up with. They got in the door jamb and reconnected all these wires in the door. The become loose over time. Just hope it's not the DCM. Good for me no connections were burnt out tho. Also that warning sign you get about the door being opens the only thing I didn't have wrong in mine? Hopefully this will help. Have a great day

re-wired the whole door from the DCM all the way to the footwell. Each and every one of them. Still dead. I give up ...

Yeah, I did. Actually found a 7 amp fuse that was shot, but replacing it didn't do anything ....

OK; so the fix to this was easy when I finally found out what the problem was; or most of it anyway. Replaced the PASSENGER side DCM, and now I can control everything EXCEPT the passenger side read window. I've had this issue before, too, so I'll need to go back through old threads and figure out how I fixed it the last time; I'm guessing it's the modulator. Again .... Maybe it shorted out when the DCM went bad (?).

There's a rear control module that's responsible for the rear windows, but it gets signal from the front switches obviously as there are no "rear" window switches.

Sounds like a coding issue if I had to guess at it.

did you get a Dcm from a s class instead of cl class ?
