Vapor Canister

I cant find where the Vapor Canister is on the car. 2003 Mercedes CL 600

I've looked by the fuel pump and filter (dropped that small cover) and removed both rear wheel well inner linings. Cannot find it. Pulled out the entire rear trunk lining and can see the fuel tank clearly. Now I feel stupid enough so don't go flaming me more... I have an P0455 gross leak code and I've replaced the front solenoid.

Thank you it was right there and I have no excuses . Very much appreciate you not flaming me and I apologize for you having to look that up from my obvious negligence.

The Job is now done and my only recommendation is to get that MB Tool ("Collar Hose Clamp Pliers Clic / Clic-R Type") about $15 on ebay or size yourself some hose clamps.

Be gentle with the lower nipples sliding the hose on and clamp the large top hose 1st (shown in picture) to the canister, then mount canister and finally clamp the large hose to the elbow fitting protruding out of the top wheel well from gas tank.

Hi mike , can you give us a bit of info why you changed it ? Was your car running abnormally or throwing a code ?

Im having some intermittent issues and wondering if it might be the vapor canister , but don't really know what the symptoms of a problem are . Anything you can help to explain what you noticed was amiss will help
