This is VIN WDBUH77X37B104405 which was the only USA Spec E63 Wagon ever built in Designo Graphite with Corteccia Leather. Hopefully someone will buy this car and return it to its original condition. Certainly a special car that deserves a second chance on life.
I agree with you. I drove that car and it was nice. It needed a little work (S/C pulley making noise). It had an aftermarket head unit, which you either like or don't, but it also had no receipts or papers. It was a SoCal car based on Carfax, with all work done at SoCal MB dealers. I liked the color and it drove great. Perhaps they are just holding it ransom and aren't willing to budge on the price? However, I think I just saw it listed for $26.5 somewhere... At the right price, it's a nice car.

I think it's a pretty looking wagon, not a bad price at 26.5. Is it me or it looks like it has SL wheels on it, they look wider than the E55 wheels.
I'm not sure about the wheel details. I will say that I did notice them when I drove it because they seem to be refinished and looked new. The ones on my wagon are pretty wide as well but I'm guessing they are probably stock. I doubt the guys there will know. They seemed nice enough but are obviously there to sell cars and even though they have some incredible inventory, I doubt they know much details about one of their "lesser" cars such as the E55 wagon...
My guess is that some people have been taking it for a PPI before buying, that's what I did before passing on it.
On that note, I finally found and bought mine. 2006 with 88k.

I believe that is all the options you can get?
Anyways, only thing I need to change is finding a stock distronic grill and adjusting the rear tail gate. I noticed on the ones for sale and that I looked at, they are always out of line. Any help on how to adjust the alignment of the hatch?

Actually there are several more options: Nav, heated/cooled seats (heated only is standard), drive dynamic seats, rear door sun shades, and power hatch door all come to mind. The first several of these comprise the P1 package, which most cars seem to have.

oh yea, have all those, and you are right, most of the wagons seem to have those options.
Congrats on the new ride! Talk to me about those clear front side markers. I'm guessing they came with the car, or did you swap them out? I want to get rid of the ambers on my black car and the white/silver would look so much better! Any info would be great...

That's my new ride. The clear markers came with the car though. Couldn't tell you any more.
Love that color! It's almost like Nardo Gray from Audi. It has about 20K more miles than mine but it I like the color better than my black. Tempting to sell mine, if it had less miles. Looks really nice, however... Is that a normal color?

Thanks! Yes it is the normal color. Pewter/Cubanite Metallic. It is the same color as the one that you saw at Private Motors Collections.
No kidding?! It looks really different in the bright lights, almost with less metallic. Okay, I'll keep my black I do like the pewter color though, which seems to place me in the small minority.
