New wheels for the 43
Changed it up. I have a new Avantgarde grill on order as well as W210 mirrors. Stupid car wash messed up my old grill.
New:
Old:
Ride height has also changed slightly from old to new. I believe I was on H&R's before, now running euro springs.

Well its not a genuine one, its a ebay knockoff. But the last one I had was pretty nice, but I went through a no touch car wash and the chemicals damaged the black part a bit. Not that bad but it looked faded.

Awesome, are you doing power folding W210 mirrors or just the regular ones? Either way, I'd like to know how you wire it up. Love the 210 mirrors on the 202s.

I would like to but it seems harder to source them. I am going to have a shop do the install, I try to do most stuff, but I dont like messing with wires.

Yes! that would make sense.Did US version W210's come with folding mirrors? Is the operating switch the same as the W202 european switch? I was also trying to find where the operating switch mounts in the car. Does anyone know if it by the mirror adjuster or up by the hazard switch area?

they are the same design on w202 and w210?
if you lift your centre console trim, you can see from the under side there are oval moldings for each switch location, you have to drill a hole in the centre where the switch is going to sit, then cut out the remaining of plastic to fine tune the cut out hole to match the looks of the trunk popping switch.
can't explain it better, you are a clever dude you'll know what I mean

Found plenty of info in MB's EPC. That should get you going....
Also adding the HowTo folding mirrors operation in an extracted .pdf file as I saw you need to be a member on the link I posted above

Wow! thanks for all the resources guys! I was honestly just thinking to go the easy route without the folding, but now I may need to just tackle this. It would be a very trick feature to have. I need to source the mirrors, which seems to be difficult, atleast at a reasonable cost and in silver.

Thanks man! running #3 pads in front #2 in rear. I had #2 all around but it looked too raked. I just recently did it so I think after a couple months it will look even, and this picture gives it a little higher illusion in front. Doesn't look as high in person.

Personal preference but I like your old wheels on your C43. Looks much cleaner IMO. In regards to the mirrors, I have a set of power folding and plan on installing very soon. I just need the switch on the console the wiring harnesses and get the covers painted and I'm good to go. A big thank you to Z for the mirrors.

I hear you on the wheels. I like the old too, but It was time for a change, I was losing interest in the car a little and this helped get me hyped again! The thing I like about the new ones is the sportier appearance, in person they just look more sculpted if you know what I mean and they fill in the wheel area more with the twin spoke design which works with the W202 body IMO.

I completely understand your take on the wheels. Any time you make a simple change, the car feels almost new again. The twin spoke are definitely a better sculpted wheel.

Zayed knew that I was searching for a set and he had a set stashed away. He sent them to me for free and all I did was pay for the shipping. I was adamant on paying him but he wouldn't accept anything. I'll definitely return the favour when he needs something.
