Just ordered 2023 wagon and the only thing I had a hard time with is the interior wood I think the piano black with the nautical lines is the way to go what is people’s opinionsI think carbon is long in the tooth my last wagon had the black wood which is very nice not sure if the black piano is going to look too busy ?

I grew up in Monterey. We lived in Skyline Forest. You order from Stahl? I don't care for piano black (ahem... black plastic.) At first glance the flowing lines do look good but may get a bit busy and too tiresome over time - just my opinion. I would probably go for the black wood as well. I agree with you about carbon, it's too played out and old news, especially gloss. I did like the matte carbon in my GTR and wish they offered it more across the range but they don't for whatever reason.

Flowing lines look meh in pics and equally meh in real life, though it does have a little 3D depth. The accompanying piano black center console is worse though.

Does your dealer have an allocation, or are they just taking your order into the system? If it’s an actual allocation, do you know the build date?
As for interior trim, I agree with you on decorative CF. My pending order is macchiato with the gloss brown ash, FWIW.

Best I can tell, my order has been in, waiting on MBUSA for acceptance. Seems like Feb production has 8-9 slots atm. Makes 3 of us I guess.
Netstar was updated for couple weeks since order in, has been up again since a week ago.
If y’all know more, lmk.
Trying to decide if I keep my W212 wagon too. 29k on it, ‘14, bought new. It’s family.

Stall’s changed ownership, haven’t really homogenized with them yet probably never will. Thanks for the help I think I’m going with the flowing lines which I’ve already done, my dealer does have an allocation and it is mine not sure about bill date,

Thank you. Twilight Blue Metallic sounds amazing. My dealer still claims it's not possible to order a 2023 E63S wagon at the moment... Escalating to GSM to get to the bottom line.

^ Big price jump...
Going for another? I drove your old black one at Tactical Fleet a couple months ago. Curious if they won the BaT auction, or have there been another owners?

^^^Hi Alan, they did not win the auction. A really, really nice guy from CA won the auction but didn't like the car for some reason or another. He sold it to TF. Since then the bubble has popped a bit. I don't think they'll ever get $165k but who knows.
How did you like it versus your 2019? I think you have one pre-refresh, correct? I actually like the pre-refresh version better, at least aesthetically.
I am ordering a 2024, if I can get one. I almost bought a Taycan Sport Turismo but they kept delaying and delaying build until I just gave up.

2021 AMG E63s Wagon
Just got the Essentials...
That's what I paid for my '21 Badge Delete Spec. Later upgraded to Forged Wheels and DWS06+ all seasons. Stock wheels and summer Run flats have been in Garage for a year...now have 4 spares! Waited 15-months for delivery... Original 2020 build got pushed to 2021.
Good Luck to all with future orders and be patient. Only other car I would replace it with would be a 2023 911 Targa 4s manual. The ICE age is almost over.

You must be thinking of someone else...no 2019 for me...I have been trying to order one since spring 2021. 2021 allocations were done, so waited until summer and ordered a 2022, which then turned into an All-Terrain, which I was OK with short term (was no doubt in my mind the E63 was coming back). So now have an order in for a 2023...we'll see what happens!

^^^Thank you sir. German configurator is up. Final Edition is embarrassing, although I really like the new paint job on the fake center lock forged wheels. What a lazy effort if this is indeed the farewell to the beloved V8. Feels good to be building another wagon. Sadly, they didn't fix the front camera placement. The car has many flaws but I miss it a lot. Perhaps number three will be the keeper. Looking back, my original build graphite/brown will be hard to beat. Want something a little more practical like silver or selenite this time around. Boring but easy to maintain as a daily driver. No dark colors. First choice is silver but I really missed the brown leather so I'll likely end up with boring grey.
