not sure about the colors and finishing yet, I'll probably go for hood repaint, all green and black grill only... or also green
This is not just a guess, it has been designed and calculated by a engineer friend
the position is very precise
these type of extractors work like compressor vacuum tools
from 100km/h the airflow on the hood starts sucking out the hot air right before it goes to the engine
still working on the final version
Finally I found it not good to apply those agressive late shapes from black series on the W215
So after 4 days designing I found the final version
here is progress
final paint tomorrow, All original green and black grill
Final stage
after multiple tests I finally chose OEM green paint everything and removed the stupid MB emblem as there is a huge star just below
chose custom black grille for the extractors you'll see when mounted
Did some extra DAS programming and now get 81 celcius / 177.8 Farenheit engine temp with normal driving from 100 kmph / 62 MPH (this is the minimum speed for the extractors to be 100% active)
ths with a outside temp of 30 celcius / 86 Farenheit
my extractors are 30% bigger then the black series version
used 3x original MB bi-comp HS varnish
