Resonator deleted. True dual exhaust w/X Pipe. Need DFW area help with cats.

I went and had my resonator deleted, also deleted the y pipe and went to custom dual exhaust setup with X pipe. Not as loud as I was hoping but I can't find a shop in DFW that will cut out my secondary cats. If anyone knows some one local PM me their info.

Not to rain on your parade, but without being mandrel bent, it looks like you have no more flow in places than the stock system. Some of those crimps at the bends are brutally tight.

Wasn't looking for power with this. Just a slight increase in sound. It gave me that. The secondary cats and headers are where most of the power is getting trapped in the exhaust, so I doubt I'll see any number gains until the cats are cut out. When I do all that, I am also going to get the CLK 63 BS sway bar and do a much more elaborate dual exhaust set up with almost no bends. Wont be doing long tube header until winter or early next year.

Here's the link to the BS sway bar kit.

Why spend more money when duals can be run next to the stock bar like his is showing? Username 91RS has a killer system done just that way.

That's the exhaust setup that you need with a BS sway bar.

This happens to be my setup

Now that is gorgeous.

Can you pm me roughly what you paid? Shopping around for a shop to do exactly that and add my shorty headers.

This is the exact setup I'll be going to once I find a shop that is willing to remove my secondary's. Until then, it would be a waste of time because there would still be trapped power in the system at the cats. Louder for now is good. Once I get my hands on a set of Kleemann long tubes, BS sway bar and find a decent shop to install it all, I'll go with your set up for sure. Hopefully early next year ill have all that done. For now im doing a Eurocharged tune ECU/TCU (August 19th) and needs wings intake. That will be enough upgrading for the next few months. I just couldn't live with the stock sound. Haha.
