Wheel spacers
Hey guys.
Looking for some help with wheel spacers as the car would sit nicer with a flush wheel.
I was thinking 15mm back and front.
Anyone have a site that they have purchased from or can make any recommendations
Thanks

Beware that if you put in 15mm, there are a handful of resellers of extended lug bolts of around 60mm+ thread length (given factory bolt is 48mm thread length).
If you put in 15mm, it means you need 63mm thread length
HR is your best bet

I think 15mm will be ideal for the front but Im not sure looking at an ED1 over the weekend if a 15mm will be right in the back (too much push out)... I think 10mm might do the trick especially if you lower it which I will.

I just asked this to the rep at gwagenparts because i just bought 31s for the G63.
Here's what they said, which is of no help really:
From one or wheel and tire specialists
We used 15mm front and 12mm rear for the new E63S. Probably 12mm front and 12mm rear is a little more conservative fit which is what I would use next time.
From another wheel and tire expert.
I would say 10 on the front and 15 on the rear.
He can easily use a make shift plumb bob a string with something heavy on the end and hang it off the area of the fender he wants the tires to come out to the measure that

Maybe 15 front and 12 back? I've got the lowering module from Renntech, but they say 1.75 drop which I don't even see how that's possible looking at my car. I was told it can be adjustable w/ an android tablet though.

I just lowered my car and ran 15mm up front but no way will 15mm work in the back- the tires will rub (Michelin 4S). I dont even think 12mm will make it but Ill see. The shop only had 15mm at the time and we had them on in the rear and while it looked nice, the sidewall would rub 100%. I am going to see if I can source a 10mm for the rear but the issue is the elongated snout and the shorter spacer which might cause a hubcentric issue.

Its not really measurable drop wise but instead from the ground to fender:
Front 26 3/8
Rear 26 1/2
Front 26 3/8
Rear 26 1/2

That's a good question.. I didn't ask.. They put it on the hoist, tested a few and came back and said I could do 15 front and 12.5 back.... They talked me out of the 15mm in the front as they said it may look a little off when looking down the side and have a hammer head shark look.

Links.
15mm is still way inward.... not the best view but its got a good 5mm more room. I don't mind 15mm though and it ensures zero rubbing on harder turns and dives.

Other than looks, is there any benefit to lowering the car and/or using spacers?
For example, would it be preferred to have the car lowered before taking it to a track day? What about hitting one of the local mountain roads?
I don't have any plans at the moment to make any changes to the car, but am curious about this.

I can't find links for this car anywhere. are these similar to another model? I presume that you used HR spacers all around? so to confirm 15mm up front and nothing at the rear maybe 5mm?
thanks in advance

I used Supremepower's spacers up front 15mm. Supreme is an Orange County tuning shop that has their own line of spacers. I have them on my C63s, RS7, R8, and C63BS. They are a sponsor here and have sold a lot of spacers in the C class forums.
