RaceIQ TCU Tune
Just got back a TCU tune for my 05 SL65 from RaceIQ.
I highly recommend this from these guys, car no longer shifts like an 18 wheeler, pulls much smoother and revs better.
Lukas was a great communicator, as I am one of those PITA buyers. He answered all of my questions, quick turnaround and fast shipping.
Check them out!

That would be great! Does your TCU tune do rev matching downshifts or allow quicker manual up and downshifts using the paddles?
What is the process for purchasing this tune?
I just looked on their site and it doesn't list any products for a SL65.

Ping them on Facebook. Lukas was who I worked with, answered all of my questions.
As far as the shift matching, I haven't had a chance to try that yet.
It was plug-and-play. I'm thinking our TCU module is used on more than just or 65's...

This is very interesting. I emailed RaceIQ directly using the email address listed on their web site and i got ZERO response. I emailed them again, still no response. I thought the company is no longer in business or something.
I am very interested in their TCU tune and engine tune options as well ... for my SL55, but the lack of response got me worried.
Sounds like you had a much different and very recent experience with them. I guess.... i should go on Facebook and find them there.

I emailed them and they got back to me within a day.
Here is what I sent them: sales@raceiqperformance.us
I saw on MBWorld forum that a member purchased a TCU tune for his 2005 Mercedes SL65 AMG.
He mentioned that he dealt with Lukas.
I don't see any products on your site for the SL65 AMG.
Do you sell a TCU tune for the M275 V12 Biturbo engine with 5 speed 722.6 transmission?
My car is a 2009 Mercedes SL65 AMG.
Thank you.
Here is what they replied:
Yes sir, tune is $299 and you would need to ship us your TCU for us to flash.
Modified parameters:
-TQ managment
-Line pressure
-Shift speed
Only on request the following maps can be altered if needed:
-Shift Rev limit (ECU has to match or this will not work properly)
-Final gear sizing

I already have an awesome ECU tune but I am looking for quicker response from paddle shifts both up and down and also blip throttle rev matching on downshifts. Thanks much.

After i read all the positive postings here on Thursday, i emailed them again from a different email account. I also found Lucas on FB and sent him a message. I also messaged the RaceIQ FB page.
I got no response from any of them....in more than 24hr period.
I wonder if they are closed this week or something. Some sort of an auto-reply, out of the office message would have been useful. Not sure what to think.
When i contacted Eurocharged, i got a response from them within 4 hours. The sales rep there has been answering all my questions quickly and competently.
I hear good things about RaceIQ, i do want to give them my business, but if i am not getting any response on basic questions, it makes me question if i want to engage them, especially if i have to ship my TCU to them....hoping to get it back quickly.

I finally got around to replacing the SC pulley with a 76mm, and Anthony at RaceIQ was Very helpful and responsive!
Now I'm wondering how much I might notice a benefit from the TCU tune.
