Does Your E63s Vibrate at Idle?
I've been feeling this slight vibration through my gas pedal and footwell in comfort mode while parked or idle and asked the dealer to look into it. They told me the idle is at 600 rpm in comfort so you're going to feel it more compared to sport or race mode. It's normal and that it was compared to another E63. Just wanted to confirm with you guys if this was accurate? I don't remember feeling the engine through the car before but I'm not sure.
Could be related to spark plugs, engine mounts, or transmission fluids but the car only has about 12k miles on it so it's doubtful.
Thanks in advance.

Vibration, yes, the engine isn't perfectly smooth. If it's random though, like an occasional shudder, it may be the misfire issue that is affecting these cars even without a CEL lit.

Lol did someone say 600rpm. I wish.. because mine stays at 1200-1400rpm when its idle.
when I drive in comfort, shift from gear 1 to gear 2 is so jerky. Im guessing its a tcu reset?

Got the same, it’s going in for investigation tomorrow. Frustrating part though for me it’s inconsistent, sometimes it’s there and sometimes not!!

Please let us know what you find out. I want to say mine is inconsistent as well. I can relay anything you find out to my dealer.

Went to the dealer today for something unrelated to this issue but had the chance to speak with the tech who worked on my car. He mentioned that these cars have a much stiffer suspension and engine mounts which would cause the normal vibration we are all feeling.
Please keep us informed if anyone finds out otherwise.

They didn’t say for what but I’ll see how it goes over next few days.

Engine idles at 630. No vibration inside the car in comfort mode. Still waiting on the software fix for my CEL. I've return to having eco-mode enabled again to see if the CEL returns as a result.
