I've got terribly squeaky brakes - have to rinse them every few days as they sound like a pig everytime I stop.
Is the consensus that Porterfield R4S' are still the best street pads?
I have searched, but was wondering if there are any new pads out there that are worth looking at?
C63 P31 BTW too, though don't think that changes the pads?
Racing Brake XT910 pads have been great for me. I use them on my W211 E63. They stop better than OEM...very cost effective, and so far seem to take heat of some sprints very well. I am very against Porterfield or Hawk Street or Street/Track pads. Their race pads are solid choices.
The OEM pads are great. No noise, but lots of dust. P31 doesn't change the pads, we all have the same caliper, just different paint. My AMG GTS had the same caliper too.
If the OEM pads are making noise, they are probably glazed over, or haven't been used after getting wet. (Or are out of life. Do check that first! Just look at the pad on the caliper, you should always be able to see a few MM of pad at all times)
The fix if you have enough pad left should be good ole panic stops. Find an area where you can brake hard. I'd suggest going 40-50mph and then brake harder than you ever have before. Just slam on the brakes all the way to the floor. Let the ABS do its thing. Then drive for a half mile or so and do the same thing, but not so hard that the ABS kicks in. Now test and see if they are still making noise. Repeat a few times until the pads are scrubbed of the offending material.
When a car has option P30 AND U70 (Edition Silver Arrow AKA development package), then the brake pad part number changes from A 007 420 59 20 to A007 420 65 20
When a car has P61 AND U70 (Grand Edition AKA 507) also A007 420 65 20
When a car has P98 (AMG Black Series) A 007 420 89 20
what are the best NO DUST option pads for 2011 c63 no pkg.
is it the pads or the rotors that generate the dust?

You drive a 450+ hp, 4,000 lb car that is designed to stop from autobahn speeds. There are no zero dust pad options. Best and no dust do not go together. I want 1000 hp and 100 mpg in a $20,000 car. Some things just aren’t going to happen

Is this a mistake on their site? These have been the cheapest I’ve found for the front, and found some rear Brembo pads on rock auto for just under $39.

Why don't you give FCPEuro a try. The correct parts come right up and they specialize in our model have reps here on the forum. Not sure why you're wasting your time with Rock Auto.

I have used rock auto for years, for easily 10 of my vehicles, and they have always been the cheapest. I am looking for OEM Brembo brakes, and if they truly are the same from rock auto, as everywhere else, why would I pay double-triple the amount? I will check out FCPEuro, but my question is if the links I posted, are the correct part numbers, not where to buy them. If FCPEuro is comparable in price, I would love to support a vendor.

That's weird. I got my PP brakes and rotors through them no problem. Anyways, not a FCP rep, I'm just reminding folks with less experience that FCP service is great. Admittedly no experience with Rock Auto or their customer service.
To the original...OP, I recently installed Endless pads. Not great bite on winter mornings. But I'm leaving them there for light track duty so we'll see. OEM pads are awesome for the street across the range of temps. Happy shopping.

I’ve been using forums for years, and know the proper etiquette, but with all of my research, it seems like everybody on this site wants to hound people for creating a new brake thread with the typical comment “there are many threads, google it yourself” So I figured I would post a simple question here, so that when somebody else is trying to research the same questions we are both asking, they will have all of the information in a newly updated thread, instead of all of the thread you will find from 2011 to 2017.
so yes, I did thread Jack, but only for the benefit of additional information for future members, and people searching through the internet.
Jurid is a maker of brake pads which I have tried for years to track down, but the best I know is they retail for motocycles and wholesale for cars, I don't think they will retail for cars.
My software was current to 2016 so I think that the part number is good.
However it was already once substituted.
Substitution is when they improve something with the part and change the part number. They leave in the software pointers, to send you to the new part number.
Maybe they substituted again in 2018.
So, to cut to the chase, I would call the parts guy at a dealer, read over the part number and have them validate it.
Also, to let you know, there's a note with these saying that the parts guy is to order a free document when this part number is ordered and give you this free document.
When I ordered my brake pads for the front, I asked for this other part number and the parts guy had to order it and give it to me, was a set of instructions.
