I never drive my cars to bars for this exact reason. Sh.it gets into people's head as the liquid courage pours and pours and the nice car always takes the hit. Lyft is my friend.

I do the same when in Vegas. Imagine coming out and seeing drunk hookers dancing on the hood in heels - lol. You also have to be careful in certain valets. I never have or want my car parked up front on display. Always have them take it underground. People passing by will sit/lean on the hood and fender to take a pic. Complete idiots is spot on.

You're a much braver individual than I... I won't let valet touch my car, and the only way it's getting valeted, is if I can give them a $20 to let me park it up front, keep my keys, and they agree to keep an eye on it. Dashcams help with this as well.
Seen FAR too many videos of joy riding valets, sometimes at the classiest of establishments (even in relatively mundane cars), or honest mistakes that put a blemish on the vehicles.

I work at one of the more popular launges in OC and always park the car right upfront.
A few weeks ago we had an incident where some guy got into an alterication with a group of people inside the venue.
After the alterication both parties were kicked out, where they continued to fight and the one individual got the worst of the fight.
Police was called but by the time they showed up one of the parties was already gone and the only one left there was the individual that got beat up.
Police got his info and offered him medical assistance but he refused.
After that they told him to just go home as he was not allowed back in the venue and they left.
Unfortunately after tthe police left that individual kept on causing more drama with our Valet people and sequrity people outside the venue.
At the end of the night right before we were closing he came back and decided to vandalize 2 cars one of which happen to be mine.
We have it all on vidio as there is a camera right above my car that got the whole incident.
Looked like he had wrapped a rock or something heavy in his shirt and he used that to cause all the damage.
After that he jumepd in his car and took off
I called the police and filled a report, there were many witnesses and obviously we have the video.
Police already has all of the persons info as they dealed with him about an hour before.
After that when i walked back into the venue to get my stuff we actually got a cal from the guys mother saying that she is willing to pay for the damage if i dont go tothe policy.
My rely was NO thanks i will let the police deal with it.
All the damage was pretty much the front and rear windows and the rear brake light. Dealership had to order all the parts from Germany but were able to fix everything pretty quickly.
Here is where the frustration begin. I called the Police last friday to see if they had done anything and was told NOT yet. The Police report was done but the case has not been passed to a detective yet.
I was like whats taking so long. You guys know who it is and you have everything on video. There reply was its a slow process WTF.
So at this point im glad to have my car back and waiting on Police to deal with it.
It cost about $5900 to fix everything of which i just had to pay my deductible $500.
Is the front dash torn apart? I was thinking jealous lover as well haha......would have been better than a drunken bar story, but hey........like someone said.........idiots!
No there was no damage at all to the front dash.
The only other damage then the window was to the top part of the rear trunk frame when he made contact.
As you can see in the pics above it was bend, but they were able to push it back up and straighten it at the dealership.
Driving it home that night was a bit of an adventure LOL with that broken windshield.
