2014 ML550 P0307

P0307 popped up last night and the car was driving very sluggish and was bucking (according to wife). Checked the odb reader and p0307 returned. Cylinder 7 misfire. Want to replace the spark plugs first. Any one have a guide or something showing how to replace them? Also any other info about that code. Almost at 50k.

Do a search. If you're asking for more info on a cylinder misfire you probably shouldn't be changing your own plugs and wires. And you're probably using a basic code reader, yes? Not one suitable for these trucks.

it’s one of these. I want to do some basic troubleshooting before taking it to the mechanic. I was comfortable with working on an 2001 ML, but the w166 is a different beast.

Clear code and see if misfire returns.

Under my ownership (since January of this year), no. Going to look at the spark plugs and wires to start with. I’m in the west coast and I believe the car is originally from NJ (under the hood is overall clean but you can deal it’s seen ocean air).

You didn't answer if you run premium in it.
