I have recently purchased a 2024 GLE 450. I am replacing the 5-spoke 20" rims with the AMG Multispoke 21" rims. I have checked numerous locations and found the Michelin Primacy Tour tires are on back order until at least mid June. Tire Rack has Yokohama Geolander X-CV for about $70 more than the Michelin. Tire Rack also ranks the Yokohama marginally better than the Michelin Primacy. Has anyone had experience with the Geolander? I would like to purchase tires and get my new rims on now, but would be willing to wait for the Primacy to become available if consensus recommends against the Geolander.

I've had a set of Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S on my Range Rover for 4-5 years, no complaints at all, excellent tyres.

Geolander is the moniker assigned to a family of Yokohama tires, and generalizing about the entire lineup could be misleading. Nevertheless, I have a set of Geolander G015 A/T's on my G550, and I am very satisfied with their year-round performance in Colorado, and their treadwear after 20K miles. I keep them balanced and rotated every 5K, and expect them to last another 20K.
