Damaged All Activity Module (AAM) 2001 ML430

I recently purchased a 2001 ML430 which has a damaged All Activity Module. I understand the AAM are no longer being sold. Where can I find someone who can repair my AAM for my 2001 ML430?

I have a 2000 ML 320. A/C was not working for other reasons. My AAM became damaged by my lack of focus during the A/C repairs. I found one on ebay. The trick is to have all matching numbers. I installed it and the only issue I have is my previously working key FOBs do not work. There are many qualified locksmiths and in my case my Indie Mechanic will be able to reprogram/match mate them up.. 115 for the AAM from a 100% seller. The FOBs, I'll have to wait and see but my guess, much less than a Dealer.
I'll send a link to the ebay guy and put up a pic of my AAM numbers, yours will be a little different. The numbers start with the 163 545 then all the nuumbers on the label except the vertical row above UPC

Ebay seller; luxuryautosac

Dfixt1,
Thank you for the information. I was struggling trying to find someone who could repair or reprogram my AAM with no success. Your feedback prompted me to go to Ebay and purchase a used AAM.

I hope it works out. Let us know what you wind up with. My new/used AAM is doing well. Of course the FOBs need mated not just synced,to the new AAM but thats comming 7-1 and my A/C now works great, runs and will cycle off at low pressure then back on when it warms back up. My condenser fans run all the time while the engine is on unless I pull the relay.. My understanding is those ele. fans get their signal from the ECU then that turns those fans on and off via the relay as it gets the signal from the ECU,as the engine temp rises and falls. So I am a happy camper at this point. Be sure when you switch that AAM that the key is not in the ignation switch and Neg from the battery is off it's post. I was able to remove the screws from the top of the fuze and ele. box cover then lift the fuze panel up enough to remove the various plugs etc. and the AAM puls off the side of the fuse/relay board but watch the video, there is a little trick There are some decent videos on youtube that is a fair guide if this is you first time in that area like it was for me.. This video is fairly good but I didn't need to pull all the plugs from under the fuse board like he did, I was able to dislodge just the 4 or so and the antenna wire that are attached directly to the AAM.

PS; don't forget to remove the screw fron the center of the fuse board topside and reinstall when done
