2007 GL 450 Oil Leak

Hi folks so after I was able to solve my fuel issue I drove the truck for about 20 minutes yesterday with no issues. I came out today and see signs of an oil leak underneath (not much but definitely there.) I thought it was the oil pan gasket because the oil was flowing to the head of the passenger side rear bolt and dripping down. Upon further inspection it is actually coming from above the pan and just flowing down to that bolt I guess. I have attached a photo and you can see the oil to the left of the bolt. ( This was taken after a fresh wipe so I could see where it's coming from) Any ideas?

Now just one GL450 with EORP.
Look at the furthest front most point you can work your way down and back from there. A very likely culprit on the M273 is the heat exchanger gasket on the oil cooler, where the oil filter assembly bolts to the head.

based on my 2007 GL450, oil leaking around that region could be:
* engine oil leaked from oil filter housing gasket, and/or engine oil cooler gasket.
* power steering fluid leaked from power steering reservoir D-shaped o-ring, and/or from power steering pump.

Thank you all for the suggestions. The oil filter housing makes sense because it is parked on a slight decline at an angle so I could see the leak being on the driver's side and flowing to the passenger side. One question I do have is upon replacing the oil filter housing the coolant will obviously be removed. For refilling the cooling system does one HAVE to use the vacuum pump method that it calls for or can it just be filled simply through reservoir, idling, cap off, heat on etc etc? Thanks again

Drain coolant, save it in clean gallon-size water bottles, and filter it if you plan to re-use the blue coolant.
refilling coolant and burp the system using the most basic method, through reservoir, idling, cap off, heat on etc etc, and check/top off coolant level after few days.

Ok wonderful! Thanks again for the advice. I actually came across one of your older posts that advised of doing the basic coolant fill/bleed. I'm relatively new to the Mercedes platform and didn't know if I was overthinking things or not.

Thank you for the direction of the helpful article. I have an oil cooler gasket and oil filter housing gasket on the way. I'm hoping this will correct the issue. I noticed after parking the vehicle level I don't see any signs of leakage so I guess when it was parked on a decline it just found a route to the oil pan.
