Exclamation For those with 25 orders placed

My '25 order is showing the optional for '24 $700.00 rear side airbags (see 24 DOG below) as now part of "standard options", can you please check your orders to see if they display as mine (my order is attached).

These are a very worthwhile safety option for $700 and I want to ensure I get them.

Thanks

I don't have a CLE53 on order (waiting on CLE63), but it appears they are fine tuning their options. Does anyone know if the base price increased from MY 24 to MY 25?

Keep an eye on that as we'll know once the 25 config finally hits guessing late Sept - perilously close to orders not being changed for Oct production.

Not yet but I'm fairly certain it will by ~1500
The 63 will be a monster, but if you haven't already, drive a 53, its power is way underrated imo - why do I feel this way? B/c I drove it back-to-back with a GT63 and of course the 63 felt faster (GT63 is also way underrated imo - see my post in the 232 forum re its test vs an M8 Comp 617hp vs 577hp) but from a ~30 mph roll, the 53 was still very impressive even after the driving GT63.
The major mags should have these to really give a good workout to by now, will be interesting to see what the perf #'s are. It will also be even more interesting when one gets dyno'd bone stock.

I'm also seeing 443 (heated steering wheel) added as a $250 option which keeps popping up after the dealer removes it, same for yours?

Yep - 443 has popped up on each iteration - never did specify the option.

Did go with the L6K AMG Performance Steering Wheel in Nappa Leather and Microfiber. Was wondering if that triggered the add (though doubtful).

Will likely never use the heated steering wheel option - for the $250 add …. why not I suppose.

Damn, that's great, mine's 10/28, I was told re their rep that's the earliest they could get...they have some splanin to do.
DOG says - Launch Date: Late 2024 so after it's built it may be sitting for a bit.

I've not driven the CLE53 yet, but dealer keeps asking me if I want to take a drive! Would to eventually drive a CLE53 and CLE63 back to back but know that will most likely never happen......at least anytime soon! I do think that MB and many other manufacturers underestimate HP in their cars! Would love to see some dyne data on these cars!

Go drive one I think you'll be pleasantly surprised, I was, and I've come from some very fast and powerful vehicles.

My sales advisor said they had modifiable CLE 53s scheduled for production. He was hoping to get me in one of their mid-August builds, but it dropped back to the September. I assume because I wanted the '25 model year. They have been aggressive in ordering CLE 53s.

Mine dealer is too, but they spoke to their mb rep on Monday and was told my oct production date was the earliest, which I will qualify with him on Thursday. Either way if they're a "late year release" I guess it may not matter as much. What their def of late year means imo is anywhere from Oct-Dec and will also depend on how many 24's are still unsold, but I can't imagine that being a big issue due to relatively low production, unless many want the new wheel style which to me is well worth the wait.

I placed my order for a '25 AMG 53 Coupe (US Market) today with my local dealer. December production

Rear side airbags are listed in the standard options. I also have the 443 - Heated Steering Wheel for $250 that cannot be deleted using the dealer's configuration tool (I watched them try).

And so, the wait begins.

My dealer was able to finally remove the heated steering wheel.
They also confirmed my 10/28 production was the soonest they received an open allocation for.
