2019 E-450 Wagon
Leaking windshield viper fluid.

Leaking windshield wiper fluid on the garage floor, also getting the message Low Washer Fluid level, 2019 E-450 Wagon, 19,000 miles.
Anybody know the cost for repairs? (Either new tank, new pump, whatever)
The Indy shop said it may not be covered by the extended warranty as they could say it is a maintenance item..😳
No way to maintain the tank or the pump..
A few YouTube videos on of the same problem on 212 and 211, nothing on 213, yet.

I remember there was a thread on this topic, so you might do a search.

If you have an limited extended warranty from Mercedes, I cannot imagine this problem not being covered.

Just checked my LEW from Mercedes. There is an exclusion clause, basically for wear and tear items, section 5.3. The windshield washer is not mentioned. Section 6 list specifically what is not covered. The windshield washer is not mentioned.

Based on my reading of my LEW the windshield washer is covered.

Hope this helps

not penny pinching

save your time... pay your indy $1Hr fee to replace the 50¢ tank seal in 20mn - Then when the big maintenance shows up you will be better served.
that's win-win!
