Angry MBUX Internet Browser not playing videos

We have a 2024 GLC 300, not sure if updated to MBUX 2.4 or not (may I know how to check the version of MBUS installed), the issues with the internet browser are:
1. It can load YouTube website, but cannot play any videos, the error message says " "An error occurred. Please try again later. Playback ID"
2. It can not log in Google account, saying the browser is not secure

I would greatly appreciate any help! I have reset system multiple time, still not working...

Is the car connected to the internet?

You could check the system version in the system menu in the Info menu in the MBUX infotainment system. Here is how it looks like: https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...O616XWqM_tIw&s (image source from google).

Depending on your region regulation "parking" can be translated like - Parking Brake On, Engine stopped, etc. Without tricks usually no Video available from YouTube.

Hmmm, this might could be it, if so then try again turning off the vehicle (basically it should display "Not Ready to Drive" in the instrument cluster.

NTG 7.0 simply means you have MBUX 2.x
NTG 6.0 is MBUX 1.0
NTG 5.0 is a COMAND version.

Sorry for the confusion. 2.x I mean x as in a digit. Check Mercedes Me Connect app on the phone, see if the software update history shows something like this:

Here is what it would had shown on the vehicle: https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...fc41b5955.jpeg

thank you, was unable to find the record. It is new car, out of manufacturer in May, so I guess it may be updated at the factory as the update of 2.4 was in March? But still the internet browser doesn't work on playing any videos

Very likely it was updated to 2.4 or above already. I got an idea, you could try calling the Mercedes Me customer service through the car's button, It has the Mercedes Me logo on it, just press it, ask them for assistance. I figured this is a better way to solve the issue you have because they have remote access to the vehicle if needed.
