What happens? Does it turn backwards?
I have heard, though I've never tried, that some people will use an impact socket with a long ½" breaker bar wedged against the ground on the left side of the engine. They briefly crank, but NOT START the engine. Not sure how that would work on our cars, but cutting things off is probably not good.
I just thought of trying a nut breaker which I have used on other things before. Not sure how much working space you have.

Im not sure what you mean that you can not get it off. Do you mean holding the pulley to get the nut off?
My crank pulley looks different, but i came across this tool that looks like it would fit. Unless you are having a different issue?
* I just looked closer, doesnt look like this tool below will fit. But is that what you mean, you cant hold the pulley while removing the nut/bolt?

If the problem is holding the pulley while removing the nut, a strap wrench is the proper tool.
If the problem is removing the pulley after the nut is removed, a 3 leg wheel puller is what you need.
Both can be purchased for a reasonable price at a hardware store or rented at most auto parts stores.

Thank you everyone for suggestions! Was able to get it off by heating it up for about 5 mins with a mini torch gun (i took the fan out) and then using those ropes that hold stuff on top of cars on the pulley, and then a bar, 2 people holding the rope, me loosening ! Should not have been that difficult but got the work done.
