2025 SL63 E Performance comments and reviews

I just brought home this new 25 SL63 E Performance. I'm interested in comments from other owners. I am very pleased with the performance of my SL63 SE and am looking forward to the experience with this SL. I plan to put my GTR up for auction as some point as I hope this will be a suitable replacement.

ers here.

What kind of deal did you get??? I wasn't aware the MSRP was even released. I have considered placing an order.

Thank you in advance

I'm not sure what the rules are concerning posting prices here. The base MSRP is $207K. Units listed on the MBUSA online inventory start at $216K up to $240K. Hope this helps.

Thank you..........I wish MBUSA would wake up and update the build your own including options. I'm asking WAY too much. I'm pretty sure discussing actual discount are acceptable on this forum, why wouldn't that info be OK?

Best regards and thanks

With a $25000 range in prices on the MBUSA site, any specific price willl not tell you much unless you have the complete list of options. Base price is $207K and units range in price from $216-$240K.

So how about you list your options and price you paid? Unless you’re looking to flip it….lol. There’s no rules against sharing your window sticker and actual price paid.

Forum members like your car and also want to purchase one for themselves. Right now you could be helpful, or not.

use it in good health.

I see and understand cars actually can have different MSRPs because of different options. Most of the forum members have purchased at least one car so they probably understand the aforementioned.

I propose a radical idea, maybe state the percent of MSRP you paid. Another 1st world problem solved!

I love mine, much better than the regular SL63. Trunk is a little too small, but that is the only downside. I have to use the rear seats for bags when traveling. No problem in the city, I don’t do crazy shopping, never have to use the rear seats for stuff in the city.
Power is huge, no jerkiness when switching from electric to the v8, instant response all the time. Didn’t have time to take it on the track, I plan to do it in the spring (when warmer). Just to feel how it’s turning at high speeds and when will it slide if traction at the limit.
Great as a daily car, feels like an exotic car, without all the negatives of people turning over to watch it. It’s like an incognito super car. Nobody will guess 800hp+ on this car.

Dean::

Thank you for the information............I assume sales are quite slow for all SL models. The 8.5% discount seems pretty good.

Best regards
Mike

Photos Please. And give a report on performance etc. This should be especially helpful as you are an owner of many high-performance vehicles.

shots at dealership

Ok here are a few that were taken at the dealership before they sent it to me. I have enjoyed the car in the 2 weeks that I have owned it. It is beyond fast and handles better than I thought it would for a 2 1/2 ton car. Clearly putting the battery over the rear axle helps a lot in balancing the weight. Of course in addition to an extremely fast and balanced car it is also very comfortable. I am taking it on the road to Boston next week so I should have a better idea about a 5 hour drive after that trip. But I have gone on a two hour trip and it was very easy to stay comfortable over that period of time. In PA I can see driving this 9 months of the year without any issues. When I want a focused sports car I would take my 911ST but for everything else this is a great daily driver.

I bought this car because Spike Feresten of Spike's car radio
drove one for for a week and he raved about the car. Given that he is really a Porsche guy at heart this was unexpected high praise. I can confirm that his review was on-point.

Congratulations! Very unusual color. I am still enjoying mine. It is faster than my GTR (sold) and has quickly become my favorite vehicle. Power, handling and comfort!!
