Best tires for a 700HP C63 coupe?

Hey guys I have a W205 C63s coupe MPE tuned
hybrid Mw turbos
upgraded radiators all around
mpe intakes
downpipes

I’m on 285 30 20 r888r toyos and it’s like I’m skating on the highway the way they can’t hook. Can I fit a 295 on the car? Also what is a better tire than the r888r , my car is on h&r lowering springs. Any help would be appreciated.

Some of the high hp builds of other cars I see on YouTube are running street legal drag radials. Maybe look into those as well as the usual suspects for max grip like Michelin pilot super sports.

Gonna eat tires like candy that one is ...

To much power on rear.
Try Michelin Sport Cup II.

It's probably because it's lowered. These cars drive terrible when lowered. The back end gets very unstable. If you're on stock fuel system those tires should hook up fine on the highway with ambient temps above 50F. The Michelin PS cup 2 , 3 , R etc... are terrible for high hp on the street. They maybe great on the track everyone swears by them but not the street. It could also be the E-diff doing weird stuff.

I think its a question of sprins only or thread suspension with EDC off.

Michelin Cup Terrible allways or when its raining ?

What do you mean with e diff ?

Nice mods.
For 295 lowered you'll need 10mm spacers up back (see post and here).

Stock height you can easily fit 295, I have 295 Cup 2's at the moment and 700hp but the Cup 2's are sh*thouse until they're proper hot. Also had Cup 2 MO1 (Mercedes spec) and they were comfortable and quiet but zero take off grip even when I had stock power actually had a lot better launch on Pilot Sport 4S 285's with 700hp to be honest as they would hook when better when cold in 2nd gear.

Next tires I'll be going back to PS4S (265/295).

Trivia: The original tires on the C63 S Coupes were 265/295 in the brochure shots.

Yes they are OEM size, no sh*t. Read my post again and stop commenting for the sake of just saying something.

Okay - outstanding experts in suspension geometry are at work.

Xentry & read codes allways helpfull for fundamental diagnostic. Better then doing something & no One Knows Anything.

Its thread of tuning … not my place

For my rears, I have 295/30/20 Michelin Pilot Sport S5's on stock rims, no spacers, and my car is lowered on H&R springs. No rubbing whatsoever. They are every bit as good as PS4's and probably closer to sport Cup 2's without the issue of being un-driveable in the rain.
