Typical scammer post. The poster generally has 1 or 2 posts. Never reply to these. Always search the email address for scammer alert from other websites. Please report, the moderator staff will remove.

This guy responded to my WTB post with a generic/old picture of the item and gave the typical response that their PayPal account was suspended, and can only use Zelle and CashApp for payment. Watch out for the email address: thompsonesther62a15@gmail.com

Speaking of scammers why are you, MBWorld, still promoting MBGram? 700+ BBB complaints of them not fulfilling orders, almost 500 members in the MBGram Waiting on Refund group on Facebook. I ordered an Eventuri intake from them in January that was never shipped and they won't refund. Out $1400. And they're a trusted sponsor here?

Admins, I need your advice please!
Im looking for a set of rims and the user by the handle "Uber plud' reach out to me with the following "' The seller is not active on the forums but you can contact him directly at techlaqua004@gmail.com you're still interested."
And then another PM with the same message but different email this time "The seller doesn’t really communicate on the forums, for faster communication, you can reach him at ziqitech@outlook.com if you’re still interested.."
The same person replied back on both email addresses.
When I reached out to techlaqua004@gmail.com, the guy was willing to go down form ~4k to 2k, sent pictures and full disclosure of few scratches. I want to make the deal over USPS COD, but he insists on the PayPal goods and services .
Will I be fully protected as a buyer via PayPal goods and services or I can still get scammed?
Sounds very fishy to be honest. I need someone's advice, expertise please.

If too good to be true it is a scam.
Forget the paypal protection - hassle in itself -
IS the risk hassle worth it?

Few weeks back I purchased an item through Paypal, and when I got the email from Paypal of the transaction, they disclosed the email of the money receiving party. I wanted to ask an additional question to the "dealer" and wrote to the email. I got a surprise...! The email wasn't active anymore...! So I send a notice to Paypal and at the same time called my Bank to cancel the pending transaction. The moral of the story is, yes Paypal may refund your money, but there are some scammers that have several emails registered on Paypal and when they get the money, they close the email account so they cannot be traced...! So, watch out.

Bob, I got an unsolicited private message from ASvchch who found out I badly needed a part, so he suggested to check with Ghdbfu6@outlook.com
I have checked with the email recipient and he said he has the part. A lot cheaper than the market...! So, gave him a shot using Paypal, since I know Paypal will give me my money back if it is an scam, and indeed it was..! Perhaps these guys keep changing user's name and emails..!

I must say, after wandering about with a couple "Sellers", I pulled the plug after reporting to MBWorld admin. I did give them my email, but am relying on Spam blocking to keep them away. I miss the days when miscreants would get a beating because there was no keyboard to hide behind. Ah well. Guess I'll buy from a dealer. MBWorld should partner with eBay and co-list For Sale items. Just can't buy without the trusted intermediary. The odds of lucking out and getting a scammer that admits to living around the corner is low. Darn!

As others have said, and I am only rephrasing, if a deal looks too good, the parts are almost certainly stolen.

Speedlimit, I carefully look for scammers when needing to send $$$$$ to someone. Learned how to separate legitimate from Fakes...
So here I found this user name (ADMIAND) posting Rims with tires for sale in the Marketplace, so look at his profile and had very limited information, so I inquired, and he responded:
Contact seller GHDBFU6@OUTLOOK.COM...so, didn't use the email since I knew from the get go it was fake..!, just limited the conversation to "messages" to study his reactions.
I send him a low offer which he accepted immediately..! (First sign)
Then ask to validate identity ...he asked me for my phone # to send a text..! (second sign)
Then I asked if he could send pictures of individual rims ...unable (third sign)
And finally I asked for COD shipping....no response (final sign of a scammer)
Perhaps to eradicate scammers this site should required "selling" members to provide verifiable information about themselves such as address, cell, IP address, vehicle registration, etc!
