New Fuel Pumps!~

I was just informed by the RedMongoose that i need new fluel pump!! i found this out becasue i was raceing a 330ci whitch i normaly EAT but i was haveing trouble! when my rpms hit about 5, there would be a surge in power and i could not take her over 100mph!!!! this was a catostrophy! because i like to travel fast. so on thurs. im puttin the Goose in the shop and ill be takeing out the REnntech E500 as my "rental" car haha, wish me luck@!!

oh and the total job will cost about 1K becasue i need both to be replaced

Do you always race? You should choose a better opponent than 330ci but sorry, I´m tooo far away :p

However, have you checked your fuelfilters ? Could be that!

i always race!!! even if it is a stock honda. i just like to!! and the 330ci is no match. but that dude broght the race on himself!!! even though he won because he hit like 110 and i was stuck at 100 but then at the next light i killed him all the way to 100, then ofcaurse the Fuel pumps acted up!!

Dealer or indy? The reason I ask is because 1k sounds high. The pumps retail for $250-$260 each. Add another $40 for the filter.

$440 for labor?

indy, they are about 300 each. and there are two. and he said about 1K so a little less. i trust this guy with all my MBZ, he is very onnest. but i dont think it wll cost more than 800
