Parrot CK-3100 Bluetooth installed with Bose Stereo
I just finished adding the Parrot CK-3100 Bluetooth kit to my SL. I interfaced it through the Bose amplifier and speaker system. If you're willing to accept that the stereo needs to be "on" to make or recieve a call, the interface can be done plug-and-play with the MB wiring harness (although the Parrot harness does need to be modified). If you want the system to come on even if the head unit is off, an additional relay is needed. As you see in the attached photos the Parrot display is hidden behind the ashtray door. Out of sight when not is use, but easy to access when the phone rings.
While this setup does not provide the "complete integration" of the MB system, for me, the more advanced technology in the CK-3100 and the completely wireless Bluetooth more than make up for it. The CK-3100 does voice dial with the phone's contacts and with Bluetooth, of course, you don't have to mess around with connecting the phone like the old wired MB system on my SLK. It's always on, always there.

yup yup
same here - this is what I would like to do with my c230k. same stereo system...
some questions:
1. does the radio automatically mute when a call is placed and/or comes in?
2. where is the mic? are you using the built in mercedes mic or does the parrot use its own?
3. can you dial a call using the dialpad on the stereo?
4. does caller id info show up on the stereo?

2. the mercedes built in mic *probably* doesn't work with the kit. many people hide their aftermarket mics in the factory location though. it is important to remove the mics own plastic casing if you're going to do this, otherwise you'll sound very muffled to callers (the "are you in a tunnel?" kinda sound)
3. no. only the mercedes kits will integrate with the mercedes HUs (besides muting)
4. no. but it shows up on the parrot's display.
i know this isn't my thread, but i've installed several kits in several cars (none bluetooth though...that's my next endeavor once i decide on which kit to buy) - sorry if anyone gets offended by me answering the ?s - just trying to be helpful!!

I've been looking for a way to get my Moto V3 RAZR to work with my integrated Bose System in my 98' C43 and this post got me excited! So here are some questions;
1. Can the other person you're calling tell that they're on speaker?
2. So how does it sound through your speakers (any difference between Parrot & OEM integrated phone system?)
3. Where in L.A. can I get one of these installed!?

Parrot ck3100
I am in the market to do this also. If it worked on a 2000 SL will it work on my 1996? Would there be any difference in the wiring?
Also, I am in California - San Jose area. Can someone recommend a good installer. I already checked out one place and they told me it was impossible to integrate as decribed above.

I've been searhcing for information on installing the Pasrrtot CK-3100 & just stumbled on this thread. The thread hasn't been active for a few weeks, but ...
I have a 2006 E55 & am wondering whether I should expect tghat
1) I can also use the MUTE function the Parrot?
2) What about using my car's speakers?
Also, do you have any further instyallation info/photos to post?
