Maybe someone out there will know the answer to this question.I do not have the infrared key for the alarm system.The previous owner installed a cheap Taiwan alarm with a dash LED light and a keyfob.When I lock the car.I hear 2 chirps,no parking lights blinking,and then the doors lock and the red light on the dash blinks.The alarm does work.When I use the master key in the doors and the trunk lock and turn it,the doors lock and the red console light starts blinking like the alarm is activated.But no chirps or light flash as it states in the owners manual.I want to get an original keyfoband reconnect the factory alarm system.Any thoughts on where to start and where to look for alarm controls,fuses,and maybe relays? Thanks for any help.
