SL/R129: If you are new to the board or purchased your car used, maybe you should check out .
1. If you are missing your owner's manual, and you sign up with the "owners online" program at www.mbusa.com, you can download an owner's manual for free.
2. Same website has instructions on how to program your garage door opener on you car.
3. Dealers are correctly referred to as "stealers" here. $465 for a "B" service! Basically an oil change. Jeez. And another R129 owner told me that he used to pay over $600 at a place near Bev. Hills. HOWEVER the good news . . . after putting my VIN number in the computer, they informed me that my car has a couple of years left on the Starmark warranty purchased by the original owner! So, now I need to try to get my $$$ on the buyers choice warranty. So, maybe before you buy even, call a dealer with the VIN and see if there is an extended warranty.
Gotta Run.
Buckwheat
The dealer said I didn't have to do anything . . . and they just called and told me that they covered an $1,100 fix on the warranty. So . . . I guess it follows the car. Take it in, and see what happens.
