SL/R129: sterring wheels

sterring wheels
I am looking to update the sterring wheel on my 1999 600sl, anyone have some suggestions? also what about the sound system is it a major project to put in a new system aswell. I was told MB has this fiber so it is a pain in the rear to update thanks

i Need a new steering wheel as well, mine looks like it came out of the Ark... if anyone has a part wooden one, or a newer style I would be happy to part with some cash.

Part wood,part leather looks good on the R129 with the chrome logo.
Don't go too modern like the CLK ones..they don't suit the car..
Radios are easily changeable,you can fit anything you like..any radio shop can do that..I have a Pioneer 6600,DVD,Screen......
Steerings are available in the UK from Gericia or Mercedes performance,both have websites...
