Wheel and Tire Selector
I found this in a R230 thread.
Select Mercedes and year. Then on the next screen select SL 500 and wheels.
You get to a place where you can select (double click on the wheel size below the wheel icon) different rims to be displayed on the R129.
Very cool I thought.

I see why lots of people go for th 19" rims. It really fills out the wheel well.

That is a real good site. If you look at my thread titled "before and after pics. of my 98 500" you will be able to see the new set of wheels and tires that I bought from Tirerack. They have great service.
