No Brainer

Here is a no brainer.
I have been offered today a Porsche 911 carrera4 1994 model[964] in immaculate condition in exchange for my Sl..
I have had a 911 before ,and they are unbeatable in the driving department.
And I do miss driving in the real sense...
What do you people think?
Should I do it?
Or should I keep the SL and get myself a Porsche on top?
These kinds of decisions are hard to make and help is appreciated..

Don't do it

Ha! You are faking this. You are in love with your R129 -- I have seen your posts. Plus, you have done so many things to make her so nice.

How can you trade away something you are obviously so in love with?

Might I suggest, if you must have the Porsche, that you trade a wife or daughter? (Don't they let you have more than one wife in your country?) Or, if you are in a pinch, perhaps a son or maybe your house.

But not your R129.

Amen. My sentiments exactly. Dafi, you have a car that is awsome in every respect. Thats your baby. My advise, keep your 129 and buy the Porsche as a racing toy. JOSEPH

my father in 2002 sold his 1992 129 SL500 and a 1989, porsche 928S4 for a 996. after i got my 129, he told me that he regretted selling his SL.

keep the SL, and buy the porsche ontop.

Thanks guys for all the advise...But you don't have to worry..
I test drove the Porsche and remembered why I sold my old Carrera..
It's a pain in the to drive...And it feels its age...
The SL feels like a 2002 car and cannot be beaten on comfort...so the decision is keep it or swap for a bigger engine.....
I was told yesterday about an SL 60 for sale..1998 for USD 30.000
So I rushed to the dealer to be told that it was sold..no wonder at that price.
It was an immaculate AMG in black with a red interior,AMG body,AMG 18's split rims, even the dash was red stitched leather...red and white speedos[300 kmh]...a truly awesome car..An opportunity that never comes twice..
About the many wifes thing,Joe,I am a Catholic man.HAlf of the country is here you know..So,only one wife and no divorce and no remarrying...So,really
I have nothing to swap with....ha...ha...ha..

HURRAY!!!! Dafi you had us worried for a while, Keep looking and I am sure you will wind up in love with a 500 SL. In the meantime enjoy your beautiful 320.
