Who cares how it looks? It's only got a 3.2 engine. It's the WRONG conversion anyways . . . R129 Body style is fine. I want that new 380 h.p. engine and 7 speed tranny in my 129.

I don't know why bother with such conversions and who would be interested in buying a *******ised car.
It reminds me of those Fiero-Ferrari conversions of the eighties.
A 129 is a beautiful car in its own right.
That car looked like an entry on the swan contest....My apologies to that
program...no harm intended...

This is a kit and body shop outside Munich, Germany and the $20,000 dollars quoted in the ebay ad is consistent with their prices.
They also do an SLR type bonnet (is that the hood in the US?) for the W211 and W210, as well as a kit based on the LeBaron.
Build quality seems high on the 129 kit, but as other members suggest there is the question of taste...
