Flexible Service
It is comming on to 101/2 years (Sept 2004) since the last Service visit. We now have put on 18,000 Km (11,00 miles in that time).
We added a liter of sinthetic oil in that lenght of time.
The FSS mileage remaining display seems to vary with the type of driving we do ... but is not going down very fast with the mileage we are putting on.
Does this seem right?

I guess I can answer my own question.
I referred to the owners manual to find:
"The FSS allows for distances between 10,000 miles (15,000 km) and 20,000 miles (30,000 km), or from 365 to 730 days between services."
So since my FFS display currently shows 2,900 km to go (and does not go down at all or very fast). The engine management computer must like the combination of city, highway, lead footed driving that I do.
