Vacuum Pump Keep running
93 600sl installed a new vacuum pump and upon completion everything worked great when the ignition is off and I felt good for a moment. I found out that the pump keep running when the key is turned 2 turns in the ignition or when the engine is running and it does not stop. I read on one of the forums that if there is a leak somewhere the pump is programmed to stop to prevent a burnout. when the key is out of ignition it function correctly, it runs enough to lock or unlock the doors and it stops. Any ideas please?????
