Can someone help me by providing a list of what each fuse in the trunk of a 1996 SL 600 is for? I lost the diagram. I am also having a problem with the antenna. It will raise when I turn the car on and lower when I turn it off. If I remove the #8 fuse in the trunk, the antenna will work properly when turning on and off the radio.

I have also just started getting a weird idle when in park. It will rev up to about 1500 rpm for 1-2 seconds then go to 1000 for about 4 seconds. It repeats this until you put it in gear. After putting it in gear, it will idle properly unless you rev the engine which will start the crazy idle again.

I also have to say that reading this forum was a great help with my suspension. I had a terribly bouncy ride. I was almost hitting my head on the hard top at times. I purchased a full set of accumulators and installed them. It now rides like a benz is supposed to!!! While the wheels were off, I also painted the rotor hubs black and the calipers silver. looks great! thanks!!

Have a 2001 SL600 and scanned the trunk fuse assignement into a PDF file. Please send me your personal email and I will send it to you. Tried inserting it as image to no avail.

Thanks to tsikos for the diagram!!!! The #8 fuse is for the phone. Apparently I knocked the handset off the base or turned it on which made the antenna operate with the radio off. Fixed the problem and am

On a related note, I'd like to use the phone in the car but it is 10 years old. any suggestions on if it can be operated or not?
