Central Locking System

Sometime back I reported a faulty central locking system. Well all is good and well again ( take note B4mmy I think you had the same prob too) I came back from a month of cruising around the Caribbean and found a real smart M.B mechanic by the name of Hans (does not get more german than that). He had the problem fixed in half an hour. The problem was a faulty vac line inside the center console. Everything works like new again.

Hi Kerry, yeah I had the same problem. Mine's fixed now as well.

My vac line fault was inside the drivers door somewhere. Not sure how long it took to fix as the cost was rolled into fixing my bonnet problem... new catch and cable release, a new pair of headlights (looking nice and clear now, makes a huge difference to the look of the car), and a fluid top up service.

I'm glad its all working now! Glad to hear you sorted yours

Central Locking System Again

Another problem cropped up. My central locks, windows and mirrors are still working as per last post. However, now the box which sits in the trunk and controls these functions has started to Buzz every other minute or so. My opinion is that it is detecting a leak and building back pressure.
My mechanic is going crazy because he cannot detect any leaks. The only noticable thing is the drivers door mirror losing its memory and going back to default overnight. This buzzing box is now becoming annoying.
Any suggestions?
